Woman and Race: An Examination of the Death Penalty Throughout American History

This portfolio is the product of months of research regarding women, race and the death penalty. A wide variety of topics are briefly covered including, methods of execution administered to women, state sanctioned suicide, the Lynching Era, and America’s first female serial killer. All statistics are based on the most recently recorded numbers and may not fully reflect today’s conditions. My intention was to examine these topics while remaining completely impartial. As a result, some of the assumptions made before the construction of this portfolio, have changed and are discussed in the conclusion at the end of this collection.  Please take time to read the Authors note before diving into the works.
